After nearly 75 years of service the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has replaced Research Vessel Barney Devine with a new research vessel, R/V Coregonus.  The Coregonus has just finished it's first full season of assessment work. Our new research vessel has been built by Burger Boat Company in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, the same company that built the Barney Devine back in 1937.
