Position: Education & Research Vessel Captain:
Grand Valley State University
Terms: Part time, hourly employee with 12-month assignment Location: Robert B. Annis Water Resources Institute, Muskegon, Michigan
Duties: Will operate the University’s 45-foot passenger/research vessel D. J. Angus located in Grand Haven, MI. Work hours will vary depending on the vessel schedule. Vessel season runs 1 April -31 Oct.
Skills: Required to have at least a 100-ton Masters License, TWIC and FCC Marine Radio Operators Permit (MP), and demonstrated experience operating research or passenger vessels and working with the general public and/or students.
